High quality, flexibility and reliability offer loggers and drillers alike a new dimension in inspecting wellbores. Geovista supply downhole cameras to allow you to see what is happening in your well. We have designed, manufactured and supplied cameras that have proven invaluable to users worldwide
Composed by a downview camera and a 360° free rotating camera for detailed surveys of boreholes and wells. The downview camera provides a perspective image of the borehole. The sideview camera allows the operator to see cracks, damage or other anomalies. The powerful LED engine provides illumination for boreholes up to 1000 mm of diameter. Available with two or three light sources.
We provide high resolution video surveys of dry or water filled boreholes with diameters as small as 2.5 in (63.5 mm) and to a maximum depth of 1000 ft (300 m). During the video surveying of a borehole, the depth is continuously displayed so notes on borehole conditions can be recorded. Also, the camera can be toggled from a down-the-hole view to a side-view, with the high intensity LEDs, so significant changes in the borehole can be recorded. The side-view camera has continuous 360 degree rotation to clearly record the full perimeter of the borehole.
We provide the inspection of the borehole shaft using colour optical camera which is suitable to the maximum depth of 700 m. Due to its small diameter, the camera can easily pass also through damaged sections of boreholes.
The camera can provide side and downward view of the borehole. In addition, a motorized unit can provide side panoramic view with an overlap (400 degrees in total). Compass-oriented combination of the side and downward view provide perfectly localised and perspective visualization of the borehole walls.
